DISCMANIA ORIGINALS LINE
Discmania was launched in 2016 and its discs were molded by Innova Champion Discs until Discmania began to mold their own discs in Sweden in summer 2021. The Discmania Originals Line are based on popular molds that were originally molded by Innova. Since Innova owns all molds and mold parts that were used to make Discmania Originals and Discmania owns all their disc names and plastic names, please note that the discs in Discmania's Originals Line are now created from different molds and plastics and do not feel or fly exactly the same as discs with the same name molded prior to summer 2021. To avoid confusion, we have inserted Reinvented Line below to refer to these discs.
DISCMANIA REINVENTED LINE (STOCK PLASTICS)
D-LINE
The most affordable plastic in Discmania's Reinvented line. D-line offers great grip and D-line discs can be cycled through your bag in different stabilities as they beat in. The D-line plastic comes in 3 different flexes. Flex 1 is the softest, Flex 2 is medium stiffness and Flex 3 is the stiffest D-line plastic.
C-LINE
Most durable plastic in Discmania's Reinvented Line – these discs wear down very slowly. C-Line discs retain original flight characteristics for an extended period of time. Whether used in heavily wooded situations, or on extremely rugged courses, the C-Line plastic will continue to perform predictably and avoid damage better than any other plastic in the Reinvented Line. Good grip and showstopper see-through look. Typically the most stable blend of plastic in Discmania's Reinvented Line.
S-LINE
Excellent grip in all weather conditions with great durability. This plastic ages well, which means that your disc doesn’t change drastically in its flight behaviour after a couple of collisions with trees.
Discmania Reinvented Line (plastics generally reserved for special releases)
SPECIAL BLEND S-LINE
Special Blend S-line has been featured in a few different signature/creator releases. Special blend S-line is as the name states, a special blend of S-line plastic that is not currently used in regular S-line releases. Some releases in this plastic have unique colour combinations similar to the Swirl S-line plastic. The plastic offers a nice grip and great durability!
SWIRL S-LINE
Swirl S-line plastic has the same feel normal S-line plastic but displays a mix of colours instead of a solid colour.
HORIZON S-LINE
Horizon plastic is an S-Line combo containing two strikingly different colour variations.
METAL FLAKE C-LINE
Metal Flake C-line plastic is normal C-line plastic with little metal flakes within the plastic which make the plastic colours pop, but still allows the plastic to be transparent. The addition of Metal Flakes generally puts a little extra beef on the flight of the disc, making it slightly more over stable than the traditional C-Line version would.
GLOW
- D-LINE: Glowing version of the D-line plastic. It adds glowing properties to the disc.
- C-LINE: The Glow C-line discs come from a very durable blend of C-line plastic that glows in the dark.
- COLOUR GLOW: The Colour Glow discs glow in the dark in different colours depending on the colour of the disc.
DISCMANIA EVOLUTION LINE
EXO
Exo plastic provides great grip and wears gradually. It comes in two different flexes on standard releases - hard and soft.
The Hard Exo plastic gives the disc enough rigidity for players to be confident that the disc will retain its shape, even for players with a firm grip. While remaining firm, the Hard Exo plastic has a soft velvet like feel to its surface making this plastic both reliable and comfortable to the touch.
The Soft Exo plastic gives players the option of a softer disc for both throwing and putting. You'll find that the Soft Exo plastic has a bit more grip to the plastic and the slightly gummier composition allows the disc to grab a hold of the chains and the surrounding green without sliding or skipping away.
NEO
Semi-translucent, premium plastic. Not only great looking but also the most durable and rigid Evolution line plastic. Still has some flex to it, and thanks to the special finish it offers an awesome grip.
LUMEN
Lumen plastic has glowing properties and are generally only available in special releases.
FORGE
Forge plastic is Discmania Evolution Line’s custom plastic with metallic outlook. It has really shiny finish and translucent look. Forge plastic is a little bit more rigid than Neo plastic material and tends to produce a little more overstable flight for the disc. Forge plastic is generally only available in special releases.
DISCMANIA ACTIVE LINE
ACTIVE
Active plastic is the base level plastic in the Discmania Active Line. This solid plastic blend offers a great grip in all weather conditions. Wears gradually.
ACTIVE PREMIUM
Active Premium plastic is translucent and highly durable plastic. Active Premium discs are commonly notably more overstable than their Active plastic counterparts.
