The Archer was Discraft's 2016 Ace Race disc and was quickly added to the lineup as a unique disc between midrange and driver class discs. The Archer is designed for beginners looking for added distance over midranges with smooth turning flights meant to go straight!

Swirly versions of Discraft standard plastic such as Z Line and ESP Line plastic are generally reserved for special releases, Tour Series and Ledgestone discs to enhance their visual appeal.
Z Line discs are very durable and retain their original flight characteristics for a long time. They are translucent to semi-translucent in appearance depending on the production run. Z plastic gets more grippier as the plastic beats in.
